Healthy skin, healthy life brunch at Lucky Penny, South Yarra

The other morning i was thrilled to be invited to a ‘healthy skin + healthy life’ brunch at lucky penny in South Yarra to celebrate the launch of RENU 28 in Australia. RENU 28 is a revitalizing gel, suitable for men and women and is scientifically designed to encourage your skin’s natural renewal process through the redox signalling molecules it contains. i have a pretty fuss-free ‘beauty regime’ (let’s be honest… as a foodie, getting to my next meal is faaaar more important!). but having used this for a couple of weeks now, my skin feels more hydrated and looks smoother. win!

Most encouraging for me is that it is chemical free! I recently discovered that I have a severe allergy to methylisothiazolinone – a preservative used in a lot of household cleaning and cosmetic products (sadly including aesop which i used to love).

It was a great morning, with presentations about beauty and health from ingrid seaburn – a former LA-based skincare therapist who worked for a number of Hollywood celebrities; and tom davidson – a former Collingwood football player turned passionate paleo advocate, personal trainer and also owner of Patch Café in Richmond (which I love).
